Do you know me as I am?

Wrinkles scream
the age the lines of smiles,
Forehead swarmed with
relics of expressions,
Eyes sometimes reflecting
inner radiance
and sometimes pearls of rain...

A mind running after
goals, aims, dreams
Hands full of nerves
blood rushing up & down
following exactly the mad
rush of life...

...Age,
Goals,
Dreams,
Smiles,
Frowns
...you see it all
Still do you know me as I am?
Tell me,
did you see you in me?

  1. most of the times when we're relating with people we see glimpses of ourselves in them .i feel this is a poem where a daughter is asking her mother all these questions .

  2. This is life as u have succinctly and poetically portrayed. And methinks that's the brilliant variety in life that keeps us going on and on. Building dreams...making plans...following as it leads u through ups and downs.
Just an afterthought...i guess if people who say that they have arrived have actually arrived???
