She...


‘She’ sat outside His abode
Sheepishly ‘she’ enquired my name
Smiling shyly I replied
Scarlet ‘she’ thought it was!

Should I or should I not!
Shy I was to talk to ‘her’,
Smugs, self-centered often told
Shameless were ‘such’ people!

Silence she wore was deep
Stupids never gave a thought to peep!
Suffering is real or pretense
Stepped up I over such petty thoughts
Satisfied I have been ever since
Shelled I few pennies to ‘her’
‘Sad beggar woman‘ who sat on the road!
